PaperGuru · Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information PaperGuru collects, why we use it, how we protect it and the choices available to you.

PaperGuru is an educational preparation platform that provides independently prepared sample papers, practice material, online tests and related learning resources. PaperGuru is not a government department, commission or recruitment body, and our sample papers should not be treated as official government-issued question papers.
PaperGuru operates its services in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations in India, including applicable consumer-protection and e-commerce requirements. Government rules and regulatory requirements may change from time to time, and PaperGuru will update its practices where applicable.
Depending on how you use PaperGuru, we may collect your name, email address, account information, purchase information, saved papers, practice attempts, support communications and technical information such as browser/device information, IP address and pages or features used.
You may browse public pages and download eligible free PDFs without creating an account. Some features, such as My Library, paid purchases and online practice, require an account.
PaperGuru does not sell, rent or disclose your name or email address to other platforms for advertising or marketing purposes. We respect the trust placed in us by students and aspirants.
Where a service provider is necessary to operate PaperGuru—for example, authentication, secure hosting, payment processing or email delivery—limited information may be processed by that provider only as necessary to provide the requested service, maintain security or meet legal obligations. Payment information is handled through our payment provider and PaperGuru does not intentionally store your complete card, UPI or banking credentials.
Payments for paid PaperGuru material are processed through supported payment services such as Razorpay. We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status and related payment metadata needed to confirm your purchase, provide access and handle refunds or disputes.
PaperGuru may use cookies, local storage and analytics technologies to keep sessions secure, remember preferences, understand website usage and improve the service. Analytics may measure visits, page views, traffic sources, device/browser information and interactions. For free PDF downloads, PaperGuru may also use a first-party random anonymous identifier stored in a cookie to count download events and distinguish repeat anonymous downloads from different visitors. This identifier is not your name, email address or payment information. Where third-party analytics or service tools are used, their own privacy terms may also apply.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect account, purchase and learning information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect passwords and avoid sharing account credentials.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations and protect legitimate business interests. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
PaperGuru is intended for exam aspirants. If a minor uses the service, a parent or lawful guardian should supervise account creation, payments and use of the platform.
We may update this policy when our services, technology or applicable legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
